There is no account, no login and no email box. Nothing here can be tied back to a person, and nothing is sold or shared for advertising.
When you start, finish or reset a run, the game sends one row:
That is the whole row. No name, no email, no contacts, no location, no device identifier, no advertising id. The random id is not linked to anything else and exists so the daily board can count people instead of replays.
Your control scheme, camera angle, volume, mute setting and any yards you built in the editor are stored locally and never sent anywhere. Deleting the app or clearing site data deletes them.
Tips are handled by RevenueCat. On iPhone and iPad the purchase itself goes through Apple, and we never see your payment details. On the web it goes through RevenueCat's billing, which runs on Stripe. A random tipper id is kept on the device so a repeat tip is recognised as the same customer. Tips unlock nothing, so losing that id costs nothing.
See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
Run rows are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database. Cloudflare also serves the site and keeps its own standard server logs.
The game does not knowingly collect anything from anyone, of any age, that could identify them.
Delete the app, or clear site data in your browser, and the random id is
gone. If you want the rows removed from the database as well, email
info@adptiv.ca with the id. You can read it
in the browser console as localStorage['buttonhook.player'].
If this changes, the date at the top changes with it.
